Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Doctor of Behavioral Health, Arizona State University 623-570-3634 [email protected] |
I specialize in Marriage and Family Therapy including parenting, family cooperation, marital discord and couples counseling. I work with blended and divorced families, emphasizing healthy communication and co-parenting. I work with families struggling with issues associated with ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, General Defiance and Attachment difficulties. I focus on identifying individual's strengths. I enjoy working with families as I believe it facilitates the greatest opportunity for change, however I do work with individuals who are not able to be accompanied by other family members or who choose not to. I have an open style and believe that you and your therapist have to be a good fit in order for change and insight to be optimal.
With all of the changes that have evolved over the past year, we also may feel a rise in anxiety. This may include dealing with relationships, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, anger, stress, isolation and phase of life issues. Often, we need a place to sort through how the world has changed around us and how to feel we can reestablish our place in it and our purpose. This past year has also impacted many of our passions. I work with athletes and the many changes in motivation that have occurred due to the changes in our normal training and playing schedules. |
