What to expect at your first visit:
We know that meeting someone new and opening yourself up to begin the change process can be overwhelming for some. We understand this process and respect the opportunity to fully explain what counseling will be like, how you are in charge of what you would like to see change or understand differently, and most importantly getting familiar with this process and your therapist. For some, life can feel a little worse before it feels better as we begin the phase of acknowledging what is not going well. Starting this process is the key to making life sustaining changes and feeling better for the future.
