I consider it a privilege to work with individuals, couples, and families including adolescents and children from all walks of life. Wherever my clients are at, I approach therapy as a powerful opportunity to grow in the way they experience the depth of life, love, and relationships. I believe it’s important to help each individual identify clear goals that they want to work towards accomplishing, and then work collaboratively with them to develop a roadmap of how to get there. I often work with issues such as depression, anxiety, relationship distress, men’s issues, grief and loss, emotional dysregulation, family discord and cooperation, attachment issues, boundary issues, and more.
Part of what it means to be human is to experience pain. In therapy, I believe individuals receive the unique opportunity to understand how their pain may be driving their destructive coping patterns in relationships and with themselves. I work with individuals and families to not only identify those patterns, but also to develop new patterns where individuals can then relate to themselves and others in a healthier and more fulfilling way.
