I specialize in Marriage and Family therapy working with individuals, couples, and families, including adolescents and children. My goal as a therapist is to make connections with my clients so that they feel safe and comfortable to discuss and fully work through whatever may be causing them emotional distress. I have experience working with multiple family dynamics, including blended and divorced. By using a systemic perspective, I understand that working with the family unit helps everyone in the healing process. I often work with challenges related to depression, anxiety, attachment issues, marital/family discord, adjustment to new transitions, parenting skills, and more.
I have my Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Bachelor's Degree in Child and Family Development. Through my experience and education, I have become passionate about helping my clients reach their therapy goals by providing a very supportive and comforting therapeutic environment. I am a trained and certified Prepare and Enrich facilitator. This means that I use an assessment tool that creates a customized, strength-oriented assessment to quickly gain a comprehensive view of the couple's relationship and to help focus on the areas of growth that the couple needs.
