It is a privilege of mine to bear witness to the beauty and pain of someone’s story. I approach therapy with care and sensitivity for each individual, where they come from, and the issues burdening them. I provide a supportive and non-judgmental environment that allows clients to talk about their issues in a safe space. Treatment areas include, but are not limited to anxiety, depression, identity & self-esteem, attachment issues, relationship issues, grief & loss, trauma, spirituality & faith, and more. Part of the therapeutic process will include the identification of a client’s goals as well as a way to work towards them.
I work with individuals (both adults and adolescents), couples, and families. Having a background in systems theory helps to inform my perspective of an individual as being part of a larger system involving family, community, culture, and more. Assisting clients in processing through the different parts of their life, I hope to help clients experience the change, growth, and freedom they desire. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and can offer EMDR as a part of therapy, should it be determined that it is a good fit for a client. |
